The Region of Eastern Macedonia and Thrace (EMTH) announces the new action “Support for enterprises for research and innovation” (Action RSO1.1.a) within the framework of the Regional Programme 2021-2027. The action aims to promote innovation and research activity of very small, small and medium-sized enterprises, enhancing their competitiveness in domestic and international markets.<\/p>\n
Key Action Details<\/p>\n
Total Budget: 8 million euros.
\nSubsidized Budget per Action: From \u20ac100,000 to \u20ac300,000.
\nSupport Rates:
\nIndustrial Research: Up to 70% for small enterprises and 60% for medium-sized enterprises.
\nExperimental Development: Up to 60% for small enterprises and 50% for medium-sized enterprises.
\nConditions for Inclusion of Businesses<\/p>\n
To participate in the action, interested businesses must meet the following conditions:<\/p>\n
Legal Form and Commercial Activity:
\nMicro, small or medium-sized enterprises, as defined by Recommendation 2003\/361\/EC.
\nBusinesses that keep single-entry or double-entry books and have a legal operation.
\nEligible Sectors of Activity:
\nMaterials and constructions.
\nAgri-food chain.
\nSustainable energy.
\nDigital technologies, including applications in tourism, culture and creative industries.
\nTime Requirement:
\nAt least two full closed financial years before submitting the application.
\nFinancial Conditions:
\nThe amount of the subsidized budget cannot exceed the highest turnover achieved in one of the last two closed fiscal years.
\nGeographical Coverage:
\nThe investment project must be implemented exclusively in the AMTH Region.
\nCollaborations with Bodies:
\nCooperation with research bodies (e.g. universities, research centers) or specialized enterprises is permitted for the implementation of part of the project.
\nCommitments:
\nThe operation must not have started before the submission of the application.
\nThe enterprise must not be in bankruptcy, liquidation or forced administration.
\nWhat the Subsidy Is About<\/p>\n
The funding covers investments in:<\/p>\n
Industrial Research:
\nResearch aimed at acquiring new knowledge with a view to developing new products, services or processes.
\nExperimental Development:
\nActions for the production of new or improved products, with an emphasis on practical application.
\nEligible Costs:
\nPersonnel: Cost of researchers and technicians employed exclusively on the project.
\nEquipment: Acquisition or use of specialized tools and machinery.
\nServices: Assignment of research to specialized bodies or individuals.
\nIndirect Costs: 7% of eligible direct costs.
\nDuration of Implementation:
\nMaximum duration of implementation: 36 months from the date of approval.
\nApplication Submission Procedure<\/p>\n
Start of Submissions: November 18, 2024.
\nEnd of Submissions: January 17, 2025.
\nMethod of Submission: Electronically through OPSKE.
\nThe evaluation will be comparative, based on predefined criteria, while the results will be announced through the websites of EYD AMTH, NSRF and EFEPAE.<\/p>\n
